About us

We, Hot Country’s, are Lena Boskär-Löf with husband. 

Over the years we have had many litters, a few every year. Some have gone to show and breeding worldwide like USA, China, Malaysia, many European countrys...but most of them to caring loving homes as new familymembers

Our first ocicat was called Absalom, and he turned our world around totally-we fell head over heels into the breed ocicat. Our breedingname was founded when we lived in a region in Sweden called Värmland (free translated that means Hot Country). 

Nowadays we live on a small farm north of Nora with closest big city Örebro. Here we have sheep and culivate flowers and vegetables. Breeding is not our work, but what we do in our leisuretime.

The ocicats have been our lives since 2002. and breeding has given us many wonderful moments and memories, and some setbacks also, in the breeding learning process.

Health and low inbreeding are important to us, as well as keeping a good standard of powerful sweethearted cats. 

We are members of Nerikes kattklubb, (SVERAK-club) and Ocicats Of Scandinavia.
